Enrichment

In the Sixth Form, learning extends beyond the classroom, nurturing students into well-rounded adults. Enrichment activities, held weekly for Years 12 and 13, offer a diverse range of opportunities tailored to specific career or higher education pathways. These experiences equip students with the cultural capital to succeed in our modern culture.

Throughout the year the Head of Sixth Form organises a series of events which include seminars, courses, trips and conferences. Students have the opportunity to help shape these experiences and partake in leadership roles too. Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Mentoring
  • Mental and physical health
  • Mindfulness and meditation
  • Careers
  • Interview skills
  • University life
  • Apprenticeship and work experience opportunities
  • Independent living
  • Cookery
  • Resilience
  • Safety and self-care in the community
