Teddington School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic male teacher of Physical Education to join our vibrant team in September 2021.

Departmental Information

• The PE department is made-up of four full-time members of staff.  The department provides Core PE for all students, as well as, GCSE and BTEC examinations courses.
• The department also offers courses in the Sixth Form.
• The school provides all students with excellent facilities including a sports hall, two studios, two astro turf pitches and one MUGA.  The school is located next to the River Thames and is able to offer an increasing range of water-based sports and activities.
• The contribution to extra-curricular sporting activities is essential to the post.  Students are offered lots of fixture based competitive sports with neighbouring schools and are increasingly successful.  A specialism in a core sport such as football would be advantageous.  A European sports tour and European ski trips are regularly available to students: The ability to offer a second subject is a pre-requisite of the post; preferred subjects would be core English, Maths or Science.
