Governors
Teddington School joined the Bourne Education Trust on 1st December 2019. We are the Teddington Local Governing Committee (LGC), a committee of the Board of the Bourne Education Trust (BET). Our committee is made up of volunteers from the school's parents and wider community.

| The core functions of the Local Governing Committee are: |

| To ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction. |
| To hold executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the performance management of staff. |
| To oversee the financial performance of the organisation and make sure its money is well spent. |
Committee Meetings
Our LGC meets once every half term and where relevant, calls meetings of sub-committees or working groups to focus on specific aspects of its work.
The Teddington LGC meeting dates for 2026-27 are as follows:
- LGC 1 - 14th September 2026
- LGC 2 - 25th November 2025
- LGC 3 - 27th January 2026
- LGC 4 - 17th March 2027
- LGC 5 - 12th May 2027
- LGC 6 - 30th June 2027
All meetings are on a Monday or Tuesday at 17:30.
