Teddington School operates a cashless payment system called ParentPay, it is used to pay for your child's school lunches, trips, clubs, music lessons etc.
ParentPay account activation codes are confirmed once your child is actually on roll at the school and you will be notified of these as soon as they become available; please don't hesitate to call the school if you have any problems.
Unfortunately, the school is not able to provide credit/ overdraft facilities for students. If you child has insufficient funds on their account please provide a packed lunch for them to bring to school. The school's policy is that we would never allow a child to go hungry and will always endeavour in an emergency situation to provide a meal; in this instance you should call 0203 943 0033 or email info@teddingotnschool.org
Students eligible for free school meals automatically have their account credited each day, and they can use this allowance at lunch time to purchase items. The system is "invisible" so students are not aware who is claiming a free school meal. Parents can top up these accounts in the same way as any other account if they want their child to be able to spend more than the free school meal allowance or to make purchases at times other then lunchtime.
Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds an electronic record of your payments to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you have activated your accounut you can make online payments straight away. Theminimum amount payable at any one time is £10. This minimum is set becuase the school is charged for each transaction.

We offer two convenient methods for students to purchase food inthe canteen:
1. Fingerprint Scanning (Recommended)
Students can purchase food by scanning their fingerprint at the tills. This method is secure, fast and removes the need for physical cards.
If you did not consent to your child's fingerprint being scanned when they joined the school and would like to update your consent, please do so via the Arbor Parent App, or email info@teddingtonschool.org to request this change.
To have biometric registered, your child will need to visit the school restaurant or food service station after 15:00, where our kitchen staff will be happy to assist.
2. Lunch Card
Students who we don't hold biometric consent for, will be issued a lunch card. This lunch card can be used to pay for their meals quickly and easily. The lunch card is linked to their ParentPay account, allowing for a seamless, cashless transaction.
Both methods of purchasing food are linked to your child's ParentPay account. If you have any further questions or require support, please contact the school office.
