Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding provided to schools by the Department for Education per the number of children from low-income families who are currently known to be eligible for Targeted Free School Meals (FSM) and children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months.

Schools are free to spend the Pupil premium ('PP') as they see fit. However, schools are to be held accountable for how the PP has been used.
