The Religious Studies department aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the world's major religions, ethical systems and philosophical thought. The curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, empathy and respect for diverse beliefs and practices.
The department promotes that everyone's opinion is valid, but what we aim to teach students is how to express those opinions appropriately and respectfully. By the time students leave Teddington School, we want them to have a broad understanding of the world around them which will help them to succeed in both their personal and professional lives.
