GCSE Results Day
GCSE results day is on Thursday 20 August 2020.
There are procedures that we have put in place following the government advice and recommendations. Please read this section carefully and ensure that you are fully prepared for the day.
What if I am away?
We understand that some students may not be able to join us on the actual day due to other commitments. We would ask that you complete the link below to request the results electronically. Can we also remind families that if a student or if anyone in their household is displaying symptoms of Covid 19 symptoms, then students must not attend the results day, and complete the link to have their results sent electronically.
What happens on the day?
In order to minimise contact and mixing as far as possible, we will be keeping students in tutor group bubbles and we expect them to practice social distancing in line with the government guidance. Each tutor group will be allocated a time slot to attend and collect their results and enrol in to the Sixth Form. Details of these will be sent at a later date, but will fall into one of two time slots; 8.30am-9.00am or 9.00am-9.30am. We ask that all students wait at the gate until the first group of students have left the school site, and it is safe to enter.
At this point we would like to remind parents that they will not be permitted on to the school site and we would ask that you do not gather at the entrance gates as this will slow down students access to collecting their results.
Year 11 Destination Data
Teddington School have a duty to notify Achieving for Children (AfC), all post-16 destination data for our Year 11 students. In previous years, students have completed a paper slip before collecting their results, however this year, due to the current circumstances, we ask that all students complete the below survey. Students need to disclose their first choice destination, and the course/apprenticeship they are intending to study, and must submit this information before results day.
Enrolling to the Sixth Form
Students enrolling at Teddington Sixth Form will need to complete their forms at home and bring these in on results day, to limit paper and contact with staff.
For external students enrolling to our Sixth Form, please click on the following link for enrolment information:
There will be a second day of enrolment on the Friday 21 August between 11am-2pm. If you are external, you must bring with you a copy of your GCSE certificates, along with photographic ID.
