Governors

Teddington School joined the Bourne Education Trust on 1st December 2019. We are the Teddington Local Governing Committee (LGC), a committee of the Board of the Bourne Education Trust (BET). Our committee is made up of volunteers from the school's parents and wider community.

The core functions of the Local Governing Committee are:
To ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
To hold executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the performance management of staff.
To oversee the financial performance of the organisation and make sure its money is well spent.

Committee Meetings

Our LGC meets once every half term and where relevant, calls meetings of sub-committees or working groups to focus on specific aspects of its work.

The Teddington LGC meeting dates for 2025-26 are as follows:

  • LGC 1 - 16th September 2025
  • LGC 2 - 25th November 2025
  • LGC 3 - 27th January 2026
  • LGC 4 - 17th March 2026
  • LGC 5 - 12th May 2026
  • LGC 6 - 30th June 2026

All meetings are on a Tuesday at 17:30.
