- Headteacher's Welcome

I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher at Teddington School, and it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.
At Teddington School, we are committed to delivering a first-class educational experience for every student. We believe that all young people deserve access to a broad, rigorous, and enriching curriculum that not only challenges them academically but also prepares them with the skills and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Teddington School is proud to be recognised as a go-to school within our community; a place where families know their children will be nurtured, supported, and inspired. Our reputation is built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to excellence.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We celebrate diversity and ensure that every student, regardless of background or ability, feels valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our core values of Inclusion, Excellence, and Opportunity guide our decisions, shape our culture, and underpin our ambition for every learner. For our students we emphasise and encourage them to be accepting, curious and determined.
In recent years, we have focused on providing a broad range of enrichment experiences for all students, alongside driving our approach to digitalisation. We are a forward-thinking school that embraces innovative technologies and digital tools. Our aim is to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the modern world, while also enriching their classroom experience and enabling more personalised learning.
During our most recent Ofsted inspection in April 2026, inspectors recognised Teddington School as a welcoming, inclusive and ambitious community where students are well supported to succeed. The report highlights the strength of outcomes acorss all subject's, strong relationships between staff and students, the calm and purposeful learning environment, and the clear expectations that enable all pupils to thrive. Inspectors noted the strength of leadership, the coherence of the curriculum, and the positive attitudes to learning demonstrated by our students. They also recognised the wide range of opportunities that support students’ personal development beyond the classroom.
We are extremely proud of our offer here at Teddington and delighted that our reputation locally is very strong. After exploring our website or visiting us during the school day, I am confident you will see that you will also see we are committed to excellence and place students at the center of everything we do.
