Careers Programme Purpose
Young people face more options than ever before in education, training and employment. At Teddington we aim to provide our students with high quality careers education and guidance to enable them to make choices wisely, achieve their potential and put their talents to good use throughout their career. We continually look for ways to strengthen and extend our links with training providers and local businesses. Our careers programme aims to help individuals to succeed and to achieve their broader aims by raising their aspirations and equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for the future.
We have various enhancement days and workshops that take place throughout the academic year for all students. We also have a dedicated adviser from Innervate who works with students on an individual basis to give quality careers information and support planning their next steps.
Our careers programme is documented below and we will measure the impact each term using a compass assessment.
The designated Careers Leader for the school is Miss A McGrandles, Assistant Headteacher. If you are a parent, student or employer and would like further information on our Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG), she can be contacted by telephone on 0208 943 0033 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
