A Level Success 2025!

Teddington School is delighted to share another exceptional set of A-level results.

Headteacher, Paul Grills, commented:

“These results are a testament to the hard work and commitment our students have shown throughout their time in Teddington Sixth Form. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments, and grateful for the continued support of our staff and families. We are confident that our students will thrive in whichever direction they choose to pursue.” 

This year, 33% of students achieved A*-A grades and 7% an A* grade, while 62% attained A*-B grades. Notably, 18 students secured A*-A grades across all of their chosen A-level subjects. 

All departments have performed exceptionally well this year. There were standout performances in the sciences, 56% of students achieved A*-A grades in Chemistry, 48% in Biology, and 43% in Physics. Mathematics saw 34% of students attaining A*-A grades, while Further Mathematics achieved an impressive 64%. Within the Arts and Humanities, 75% of students secured A*-A grades in Art and Design, 40% in Film and 40% in Geography. Our BTEC departments also delivered excellent outcomes, with 65% of students attaining Distinction*- Distinction grades. 

Head of Sixth Form, Hollie Pleavin, added: 

“On behalf of all the staff, I would like to say how proud we are of our students. They have worked with dedication and have embodied our core values. While it is always bittersweet to see students move on, we are confident they are heading towards bright futures. We look forward to hearing about their continued successes.” 

Specific highlights from individual students include Edward Patterson with A*A*A*A plus A* EPQ and A in Further Maths, Olivia Parker with A*A*A*, Emily Cane with A*A*A, Caleb Austen with A*AA, Robyn Boynton-Lavellee with A*A*AA and Aden Ikram with A*A*A*A.
