Teddington School Celebrates a 'Strong' Ofsted Inspection Outcome 
We are delighted that our recent Ofsted inspection recognised the many strengths of Teddington School, highlighting the exceptional commitment of our staff, students and wider community.
Our recent report from April 2026 confirms that Teddington School provides a strong standard of education across all key areas, with inspectors recognising the ambitious curriculum, high-quality teaching, inclusive culture and outstanding opportunities available to our students.

The report recognises our commitment to ensuring every young person feels valued, supported and challenged to achieve their best. Inspectors noted that students embrace our values of Inclusion, Opportunity and Excellence through every aspect of school life.
High Achievement and Academic Excellence
Ofsted praised the strong outcomes achieved by students across the curriculum, stating:
"Pupils achieve highly across the curriculum."
Inspectors highlighted that students:

The report also recognised the school's ambitious curriculum offer, describing it as "an ambitious and rich curriculum."
Exceptional Teaching and Learning
The inspection found that students consistently benefit from excellent classroom practice, with inspectors noting:
"Pupils consistently benefit from high-quality teaching."
Teachers were praised for building learning carefully, explaining new concepts clearly and ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed.
Inclusion at the Heart of Everything We Do
Ofsted recognised our deeply inclusive culture and commitment to meeting the needs of every learner.
Inspectors reported "inclusion is the responsibility of all." The report highlights the school's effective support for students with additional needs, noting that barriers to learning are quickly identified and addressed so that all students can thrive and achieve well.
Personal Development, Wellbeing and Belonging
The inspection celebrated the strong sense of community that characterises Teddington School.
Inspectors found that: "leaders combine high expectations for pupils with a deep sense of community and belonging."
Students were praised for their respect, responsibility and engagement, while the report recognised the school's highly effective pastoral support and commitment to developing well-rounded young people.
Ofsted also highlighted that: "pupils enjoy coming to school, meeting their friends and making the most of their learning."

The report praised the our extensive enrichment programme, which provides students with a wealth of opportunities to develop new interests, skills and experiences.

The report notes that leaders work tirelessly to ensure all students can access these opportunities.
Strong Leadership and a Shared Vision
Ofsted recognised the strength of leadership throughout the school, reporting:
"Leaders, governors and trustees share a common vision for the school and its future."
Inspectors praised leaders for their strategic approach, commitment to continual improvement and unwavering focus on securing the very best outcomes for students.
The report also found that "staff morale is high" and recognised the school's investment in professional development and staff wellbeing.
Safeguarding
The inspection confirmed that safeguarding arrangements are effective and that safeguarding standards are fully met.
Inspectors found that leaders have "established an open culture in which safeguarding is everyone's responsibility" ensuring that students are safe, supported and able to thrive.
